Getting started quide.

Ive made this quide into 3 parts.
part 1 : acquiring God-irc
part 2 : extracting the archive
part 3 : Starting God-irc and connecting to server and channel
So lets get started.

1.1 - acquiring God-irc
First of all click God-irc Full as shown below

There are 3 versions available. They are all the same !
Only difference is the theme which to start with.
note ! after you have installed God-irc all you need to do is to type /clsetup
and you can change between different themes.
So it doesnt matter what version you download
I like theme prestige to start with so lets get that from mirror 1
click the link as shown below.
If mirror 1 is down, just use mirror 2 or 3

You will be prompted to save the program. Click Save.

Choose the location where you want to save the program
And click Save

2.1- extracting the archive
After the download is finished navigate to the folder you chose above
Double click the file.

Read up the installation info given and click next.
Then you see the picture below. Click Extract

When the extraction is finished just open the folder where all files were extracted
In this case godirc55_prestige folder and its located in the same directory u chose in part 1.4
Double click the mirc icon shown below and the program starts.

3.1 - Starting God-irc and connecting to server and channel
God-Irc has started the first time so you need to make the basic settings now
Click Next and make the choises you like.

Note ! doenst really matter what you choose here because you can always change these later
Just by typing /setup
But for now we are ready to proceed. Just click Finish.

Next you will see this. Here are very important settings. Check them and choose
what you desire or just click OK to proceed.
You can always come back and make the settings later by typing /setup

Here you can choose many things which happens automatically after you have connected to server
Choose you desired autojoin channels or input your Q-net Auth info if you wish to auth when connected.
For your convenience we have put #godirc as your first autojoin channel.
Click Done when you are ready.

Now we are almost done.
Click Connect.

Doh ! of cource you will need a nickname to use.
Enter something into the empty boxes.
Full Name or Email address doesnt need to be your Real name or your Real email address
but no harm done if you use your real name or address. Just type something ;)
Note. Try to come up with a nickname that isnt in use.. If your nickname IS in use already
You cannot connect. In that case come back into this settings OR type /nick yournewnickname

Ok all done.
Click Connect to server.

The profile settings you made in part 3.4 are asked now.
Click Load

Gongratulations you are now connected to quakenet and you are in #godirc channel !

Final words.
Next time you use God-Irc you are not prompted to do any setting changes.
Just proceed in this quides order to connect next time
